The 2007 Global Day of Prayer
consisted of over 200 million people all
over the world from China to Africa,
from Europe to the United States all
praying as one for revival.
The church and body of Christ can be
so full of pride, jealousy and envy that
we need events like the Global Day Of
Prayer. To wash all the junk away and
focus on what really matters, our lord
Jesus Christ!
Central Florida and Encounter Church
was a part of the Global Day of Prayer.
The central Florida gathering was
perhaps not as huge as some
gatherings but none the less powerful.
The churches stood in unity to repent
for our sins and the sins of the city.
There is nothing as powerful as
ministers and different churches all
weeping before the Lord as one.
Central Florida also prayed for revival
to come to Orlando and beyond! The
Global Day of Prayer was an amazing
time with God, if you missed it, the
Global Day of prayer will be repeated
so look out!

The Call Nashville was one of the most
amazing experiences!
The LP Field in Nashville, TN was filled
with over 100,000 young people
repenting for their sins and praying for
revival. Four of Encounters youth went
to The Call. It took almost sixteen
hours to drive and the youth were up
at 4:30am but they kept on.
As one teen said "All the travelling, the
early mornings, the burning sun, it was
worth it just to hear 100,000 people
scream Jesus!Jesus! Jesus!"
Encounter hopes to attend the next
major call event in Washington D.C
where 1 million people will gather for
Christ!
