Support Groups

We offer a variety of support groups throughout the year. Whether you are coping with a chronic illness or an addiction, divorce or loss of a loved-one, you will find compassionate care in one of these groups. Download the file of our support groups and when they meet. They are also listed below.

GriefShare is a class with a trained grief counselor and a few others who are on their own journey through grief over the death of a loved one. Our next class will meet Tuesday nights  from 7 - 9 p.m. in Room 422/424 meeting through August 20. For more information or for individual meetings, call Debi Dixon, Grief Coach, at 805-766-4071. Debi is available to work individually with people processing other types of grief.

Boundaries, When to Say Yes, How to Say No, is a 12-week video series by Dr's. Cloud and Townsand. When in session, this class meets every other Thursday at 6:30 p.m. For more information about the next class, call Susie Skillstad at 805-766-2888.

Cancer Support provides Information on the latest treatment options, knowledgeable referrals, and loving support are offered to cancer patients and their families. For more information, contact gwestbroo@aol.com.

Building Bridges is a support group for those who have disabilities. The mission is to build bridges between those who are “otherwise-abled” and the community at large, as well as to promote understanding and fellowship. For more info, go to Building Bridges.
